Welcome Statement
Baldwin First United Methodist Church is committed to believing that all persons are created by God and loved through and by Jesus Christ, the people of Baldwin First United Methodist Church understand that our neighbors include persons of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientation and identity, economic or marital status, and physical and mental condition, and are welcome to participate in the life of our congregation.
Mission
The Mission of Baldwin First United Methodist Church is to love and serve God and our neighbors as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Baptism
We practice infant through adult baptisms. Are you ready to walk a life of discipleship, or begin a journey of Christian growth? We are here to help you or your child to take the next steps.
Communion
Holy Communion is God’s table. All are invited to receive the bread and wine regardless of your faith journey, age, or background. Communion is offered the first Sunday of the month. We pray that we may be “one with Christ, one with each other, and one in ministry to all the world.”
Only non-alcoholic wine is used for the Sacrament.
Confirmation
Confirmation classes are led by the Pastor. This is an opportunity to respond to the grace of God available to us, as acknowledged in baptism, and to promise to live as a person of faith.
