A LETTER WRONG

The Baldwin Ledger, 13 Jan. 1911

Since the last issue of the Ledger, a large number of people have remarked that Rev. Scroggs chose a strange subject for an evening sermon last week. A few people who happened to be present know that the sermon was on "Boldness" and not "Baldness" as the Ledger had it. At any rate two things were shown by this unintentional error of the compositor — that a large number of Baldwin people note the contents of the Ledger, and that if Rev. Scroggs should choose soon to preach a sermon on "Baldness" he would have a large and attentive audience. Some have thought that in this sermon, Rev. Scroggs must have been alluding to his predecessor, but this correction should dispel any such mistaken idea.
