The feature of observing the first Sunday in May as Mother's Day will be observed again this year. The Sunday School has provided for an excellent program. The various departments will gather at different stations on the campus, at business corners, and residences and at a given signal will proceed in marching columns to the church. They will enter the church singing, "Onward Christian Soldiers". The Adult section will meet as follows: Dr. G. M. Liston, at Peoples State Bank; S. S. Huff, at Baldwin State Bank; S.. Lampman, at F. Harpster's; C. B. Merry, at S. T. Count's; Dr. J. C. Warnock, at Arnett Cash Grocery; Mrs. J. Riley, at the Bank Hotel; Mrs. M. A. Harpster, at her residence; Mrs. H. A. Wilson, at Mrs. Ernest Gorden's corner; Mrs. L. M. Brigham, at Mr. John Beaton's.

 

The College department will assemble west of Centenary Hall. The Senior class east of the library (the department including the classes of Mrs. Church, Mrs. Hackett, M. M. Morgan and Ethel Ault). The intermediate class will meet west of the gymnasium; Junior west of the library; Primary and beginners on the lawn north of the church.

 

Provisions have been made to send automobiles for all the invalids belonging to the Home department. The cradle roll children will meet at the residence of Mr. H. K. Ebright. The first bell will ring at nine as a signal for everyone to get ready. The second at 9:20 for the formation of the line. Two taps at 9:30 will be the signal to start. The Baldwin City band will participate in the march and will head Dr. Warnock's class. The program will have several special features and the study hour will be shortened.

 

Public worship will be at eleven and appropriate to the day. There will be a reception of members for probation and baptism. Any parents desiring to have their children baptized will confer with the pastor on or before Saturday.
